The roots of Bilpin Station stretch deep into the heritage of the Blue Mountains, originating from a storied past as a family-run heritage orchard. The orchard has been reduced over time, and since purchasing the property we have carefully nurtured this land, restoring the essence of the orchard to create a sanctuary that honours the rustic charm of rural Australian life by running a small goat stud and supplying our organic fruit to the Old Shed Distillery.
Our vision for the farm stay is rooted in tranquillity and professional hospitality. The studio was formerly the old fruit pickers cottage that has been renovated to ensure all modern comfort and amenities. We strive to provide an inviting escape where the air is crisp and the vistas are breathtaking. By blending refined elegance with the raw beauty of nature, we ensure that every guest shares in the serene spirit of our mountain home.

About Bilpin
Bilpin is a small mountain village in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, about an hour and a half from Sydney. Known as the “Land of the Mountain Apple,” it’s famous for its cool climate orchards, roadside fruit stalls and homemade pies. Visitors come for apple and stone‑fruit picking, bushwalks through nearby national parks, scenic lookouts, and cosy cafés. Local gardens, farm gates, cider houses, the Old shed Distillery and art studios make Bilpin a relaxed country escape in every season.
